Yet more goodies from a month in the life of the venerable London dance station
The timeline of a Rinse show’s appearance after airing can sometimes be suspenseful. A couple of these are here, not because they’re necessarily lesser than other shows I’ve written about previously (see here, here, and here, not to mention here), but because they showed up way after they first went out, so this is a catch-up in a couple of senses. Along with another old-residents post to follow, this paid-only post will conclude our saga about a month in the life of a single station. What a pleasure it is to do this—even if it (and other things like) will likely make my year-end lists weird and lopsided. But then, that’s the payoff for literally everybody who’s paying attention, even as certain kinds of consensus form. To really sit with these sets is a big part of why I do this, because the best ones invite the immersion.
