Apologies, I’ve been away: Pop Conference obviously happened, my mother died (here is her obituary), and I’ve been intensifying my book research and my mix listening. How nice to be able to say that I haven’t been writing about mixes in part because I’ve been listening to so many of them. And we will get to cases on all of that very soon. But first things first.

In case you’re just joining us, I listened to a whole bunch of Rinse FM sets from the month of March, in hopes of generating a couple of Five Mixes. This is the fourth, and last—I’ve said from the beginning that timeliness is no issue here, and it’s not, but a lot of lovely sets from May, especially, also beckon. But mixes happen whenever you listen to them, these included. As promised, this one is for paying subscribers.
