The Twin Cities have had a positively balmy summer, overall—very few complaints—but that changed last week, when we got a couple days near 100 degrees, day and night. Though they don’t have a lot in common on the surface, these sets felt particularly apt in the weather’s sweaty wake, though only the downtempo radio set, fourth down, went out during the wave itself, in a city that wasn’t enduring it. Whatever the clime, every pick here is a killer.
