Happy New Year. I took the weekend off, as one does, so if you are just joining us: “b2b” is short for “back-to-back,” the term for two DJs who are not typically partners playing a set together, alternating selections (sometimes every two or three) and, hopefully, creating something that neither DJ would have come up with on their own. (I spoke with some DJs about this here.) In any event, bunching these together seemed like a gimme, and it was. This and the next post will be the end of 2023 for me, and will be followed by my year-end list; also, this and the next post are for paying subscribers. The year-end list will be public again.
