BC167 - Five Mixes from RA’s “Top 50 Mixes of the ’00s” (January 2010)

Near the end of January 2010, Resident Advisor ran a feature titled “RA Poll: Top 50 mixes of the ’00s.” I remember it well—I voted in it and wrote two blurbs. I looked it up again while I was beginning to peruse RA’s quarter-century update on that list and the others that accompanied it (cf. BC152). Notably, the newer list leaves a lot of this first-draft-of-history behind. And when I did a little comparing and contrasting with those two lists—as well as the 20 mixes of the ’10s list that ran in between—my percentage still unheard was much the same across the board. And when I saw that five of my unheard from the 2000s list were on Mixcloud—well, why not? No playlist, alas.
